The President of the FFAW is bidding “good riddance” to 2023.

The year saw a catastrophic collapse in snow crab markets that led to a prolonged tie-up, followed by changes to EI qualifying criteria that is having a devastating impact on seasonal workers.

Greg Pretty says he can’t wait to see the back of 2023.

“Can’t wait ’til the 31st to see that calendar flip over” says Pretty, “and look forward to a new year for our members and this province.”
