A 31-year-old man has been charged after a stolen vehicle was used in a hit and run in the capital city Saturday afternoon.
Around 1 p.m., police responded to the centre city area, and located the vehicle nearby a short time later.
The driver initially provided a false identity, but it was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen and the man’s true identity was confirmed.
The man has been charged with public mischief, possession of stolen property, driving while prohibited and breach of a release order.
He was held for court.
