Gander RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at the Circle K on the Trans Canada in Gander.

Police say a man, wearing a face mask, entered the store around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, walked behind the counter and showed a knife to the clerk.

He demanded money and left the store with a quantity of cash and cigarettes. The suspect was last seen heading towards the back of a nearby business.

There were no injuries.

The suspect was wearing a camouflage coat, grey pants, black footwear, gloves, and a ball cap with a hood pulled up over his head.
