A 33-year-old man is facing charges after a hit and run yesterday evening in the capital city.
Around 7:30 p.m., police were called to the centre city area where a hit and run had taken place. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot before police arrived.

Officers, including the RNC K-9 unit, tracked the fleeing man down and arrested him. Police also determined he had been driving a stolen vehicle.
He now faces charges of possession of stolen property, failing to remain at the scene of an accident and breach of probation. He was held for court.
