The search for Memorial University’s next president is moving along.
The Board of Regents approved the terms of reference and membership structure for their Presidential Search Committee last month.
The committee will be comprised of current board chair Glenn Barnes, four other board members, four faculty, four students to be chosen form the various student unions, an academic administrator, a non-academic administrator, and a member from the public.
The process is underway to fill each of the positions, and applications are being accepted for the public-at-large position until February 2.
Vianne Timmons stepped down as MUN President last April.
Dr. Neil Bose has been serving as President since then.
The University says Bose will hold the position until April 5, 2025, or until a permanent President is found, whichever comes first.
