The Executive Director of St. John’s Minor Baseball is moving on.
Kristyn Coley, instrumental in the growth of the association over her 11 years with SJMBA, has been in the position since 2019.
Coley says it’s time to step away and let someone that can commit full-time to take up the role.
She says the association continues to add more and more programming, so someone who can oversee those operations around the clock is needed.
Coley says it was a difficult decision, but she’s proud of her work.
She says in the last ten years, they’ve gone from 700 members per year to 1,000 per year. Personally, she’s proud of the creation of the Girls’ Regional League, which now has upwards of 200 people.
