The City of St. John’s is reminding recent residents of Ward 4 to register to vote in the upcoming city by-election.

Nominations for Ward 4 will be open from February 6 to February 13.

An official list of candidates will be announced once the nomination period has ended.

Meanwhile, the city relies on a permanent list of electors provided by Elections NL. If a resident recently moved to the area, or recently turned 18, they may not be included on the voter’s list.

Anyone who wants to be registered for the Ward 4 by-election in the capital city is asked to visit the city’s website.
