RCMP are seeking the public’s help in their investigation into an apparent case of road rage involving a hit and run in Bishop’s Falls last month.
RCMP were contacted on Tuesday, January 23 by a man who said he was driving through Bishop’s Falls when he had to turn over the centre line in order to avoid a snow bank in the middle of the road.
The man reported that a white Jeep, coming in the opposite direction, passed his SUV, then turned around and started following him in an aggressive manner.
The man claimed that the Jeep intentionally rear-ended him and then sped away.
The driver of the white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, with light bar on top, is described as being in his 30s and having a slim build.
Police are interested in speaking with the driver of the white Jeep. Anyone with information is asked to contact Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP 709-489-2121 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477
