St. John’s native Alex Newhook will return to the Habs lineup this afternoon for the first time since November.
Newhook had been sidelined for 10-12 weeks after he collided with the net and suffered an ankle sprain in a game against the Florida Panthers on November 30.
He returned to practice in late January and will be back in action as the Montreal Canadians host the Dallas Stars at 2:30 NST.
Before his injury, Newhook put up seven goals and six assists in the 2023-24 season.
