A man who had a Canada-wide warrant out for his arrest has been taken into custody by Bay St. George RCMP.
Forty-eight-year-old Matthew Francis O’Quinn was wanted for violating the conditions of a long-term supervision order after he was convicted of “multiple violent offences.”
RCMP arrested him on Monday and he will appear in court on Tuesday.
A missing Stephenville Crossing woman believed to be with O’Quinn has also been found safe.
