A sad end to the search for a man reported missing from Bay Roberts.
The RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team located the body of 63-year-old Michael O’Driscoll in the waters off Mad Rock in Bay Roberts.
The search for O’Driscoll was launched on Sunday when he was reported missing.
Police are extending their condolences to O’Driscoll’s family, friends, colleagues and former students.
RCMP are thanking the Avalon North Wolverines Search and Rescue, JRCC and the Canadian Coast Guard for their assistance.
The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office is involved in the investigation.
