Provincial Opposition Leader Ches Crosbie says the Premier was “missing in action” during the federal election campaign.
Crosbie says the Premier should have held the various party leaders’ feet to the fire on issues affecting Newfoundland and Labrador.

Premier Ball has called a news conference this afternoon to talk about the election results. VOCM News will be there.
Crosbie says rate mitigation is the most pressing issue facing the province today, and Premier Ball failed to get a concrete commitment from any of the party leaders on that topic.
Although the Premier wrote the party leaders, Crosbie contends that Dwight Ball had a duty to make rate mitigation “the ballot box issue.”
