A family from Pouch Cove says one of the conditions of building their new house from the ground up is that they need to get their old house off of the property. So they are giving it away for free.

Todd LeGrow has been documenting the building process of his family’s new home on Facebook.

Two weeks ago he made a unique offer: His family’s “cozy” little home is free to whoever wants it, as long as they can get it moved off of the property.

LeGrow says they have received a few inquiries, but no serious interest in the offer yet.

He says one way or another, the building has to go. Whether the building is moved, beaten up or torn down, it can’t stay. So there is a unique opportunity for someone to take the house for their own.
