A local teacher is the winner of Post Cereal’s “Search for Goodness” contest.
Paula Courage, a teacher at Beachy Cove Elementary, says she was nominated by two of her coworkers for the contest, which looks to seek out”genuinely good” Canadians and reward the winner with a $10,000 prize to go towards the work they’re doing in the community.

Speaking with Fred Hutton on the VOCM Morning Show, Courage says there has been talk about how to use the money, such as furthering environmental initiatives at the school.
However, she wants input from those who helped her get to the big prize first.
She says she wants to speak with members of the school community first to see how they would like to see the money spent.
