All areas of Gros Morne National Park are now closed to snowmobiling.

And the ban will remain in place until the end of the season, on May 15th, due to the lack of snow.

Parks Canada notes snowmobiling season dates are subject to change at their discretion due to unfavourable or dangerous conditions.

They also remind visitors that they are responsible for their own safety when travelling anywhere in the park.
