A new weekly show is launching this weekend on VOCM, appropriately timed and themed for the May 24th long weekend.
“Our Songs” on VOCM with host Chris Andrews, of Shanneyganock fame, will take to the VOCM airwaves Saturday mornings at 6 a.m. and again Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m., featuring the stories and history of the music that defines Newfoundland and Labrador.
“It’ll be a one-hour show promoting traditional, folk-based music from the past seven decades … some you’ll know and some you won’t,” says Andrews.
