A man was arrested overnight after several windows were smashed out of an apartment unit in the capital city’s east end.
Police were responding to a disturbance at the apartment building around 12:30 a.m. when they noticed the damages to one of the units. After speaking with a resident, officers went next door to arrest the suspect.
Police say the 53-year-old man was not cooperative, and after a brief struggle, he was arrested and charged with mischief over $5,000 and resisting arrest.
The man spend the night in the lockup awaiting court.
