A man was arrested in the capital city overnight after police attempted to stop an erratic driver in the downtown.

The vehicle fled from police shortly after 2 a.m., but the vehicle and the driver were identified.

Police located the driver outside a home in the east end of the city.

The 43-year-old man was charged with flight from police and refusing the breathalyzer.

He was held for court.
