Pilots who fly for PAL Aerospace have a tentative agreement with the company.
The three-year deal contains significant improvements to scheduling, working conditions, compensation, job security, and benefits according to the union. If ratified, the contract will be the first collective agreement for the aerospace pilots.
The company has bases in St. John’s, Halifax, Campbell River, the UK, and the Caribbean.
PAL Aerospace is part of the PAL Group of Companies providing airborne maritime surveillance, managed jets, air ambulance, airborne intelligence surveillance, and support for the UK to address illegal migration.
The union, the Airline Pilots Association, is the largest such union in the world.
