A search is underway for a man reported overdue on a hunting trip in northern Labrador.
The 41-year-old left a cabin in the Mistastin Lake area on his own around 6:00 a.m. on Monday. That night police received a report that he had not returned to the cabin.
Ice and weather conditions in the area were reported to be poor at the time.
A Cormorant helicopter and Hercules aircraft joined the search on Tuesday, along with aerial searches by PAL Airlines.
Ground Search and Rescue from Natuashish and Sheshatshiu are also scouring the area with the help of an Air Borealis aircraft and helicopter.
The search continues.
