A funding announcement is being made this morning that will help to improve benefits and provide a basic income for persons with disabilities.

The minster responsible, Paul Pike, will be joined by Pat Parfrey, Deputy Minister of Health Transformation, Vice President of the CNIB Duane Morgan and Dennis Gill, the Past President of Inclusion Canada NL and the father of an adult son living with a disability.

Word on that initiative comes down at 11:00 at Confederation Building.
