14-Year-Old Girl Charged With Assaulting Metro Police Officer

A teenager is in custody after an RNC officer was assaulted in St. John’s last night.

Police went to a residence in the centre city area to do a wellness check, but a 14-year-old girl then proceeded to assault one of the officers.

She was held to appear in court today.
