The RNC is trying to identify and locate the driver responsible for a recent hit and run in St. John’s.

A woman and her dog were struck by a pickup at the intersection of Forbes Street and Bartlett Place in the city’s west end around 7:45 Tuesday night.

The truck left the scene before emergency crews arrived.

The woman was treated in hospital for injuries and released. The pickup is a grey four-door older model with a company logo on the driver’s side panel. It has a bed cover and a chrome grill.

Anyone with information or video footage from the area at the time of the collision is asked to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
