A St. John’s man charged with impaired and dangerous driving causing death has been granted bail again.
Thirty-eight-year-old Rodney Constantine was charged in March, three months after the fatal crash in December.
It happened at the corner of Empire Avenue and Graves Street, and left a 32-year-old male passenger dead and two others injured.
Constantine had been free on bail while his case works its way through the courts. But he was caught behind the wheel during a traffic stop last week, and charged with driving while a licence is cancelled or suspended.
Yesterday, he was released again with the knowledge that future infractions could see bail revoked.
Constantine is due back in court on all charges on June 28.
