A teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries after falling an estimated 30 feet while rock climbing in Torbay.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says first responders were called to the area of Tappers Cove Hill Road shortly before 1 p.m. yesterday.
Three teenage boys were climbing in the area when one fell.
He was located near the ocean edge in an area not accessible by trail.
The fire department transported the boy by boat to waiting paramedics, who then took him to the hospital.
