Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro has postponed its AGM scheduled for tomorrow due to the forest fire situation near Churchill Falls.
There’s a group of about 40 Hydro workers that have stayed in the evacuated town to keep the power plant running.
Hydro says their focus is on supporting their teams on the ground and other evacuees.
The company will provide an update once the AGM has been rescheduled.
