After nearly six months on drydock, government is hoping to have the Veteran ferry back in the water soon.
In an update provided yesterday, the province said essential parts needed to get the engine back up and running are expected to arrive today, with sea trials expected to begin in a few days’ time.
The absence of the ferry, which usually sails the Fogo Island-Change Islands run, has caused some major disruptions in the provincial ferry system over the past few months.
