The MHA for the Spaniard’s Bay area says a nearby gas station has no role to play as government continues trying to find the source of a foul odour at Holy Redeemer Elementary.
The odour meant that students had to finish the school year at other facilities in the region, and while Pam Parsons assures that the school will reopen, the road ahead is unclear.
A number of government departments are involved in getting to the bottom of the issue by means of numerous tests and observations.
There is a gas station near the school, but Parsons says government officials have ruled out that property as the source. They had plans to drill down into the gymnasium floor.
