An information rally is scheduled for today regarding efforts to save the slipway in Quidi Vidi Village.
St. John’s has closed the slipway, deeming it to be at the end of its life and unsafe to use.
They are currently seeking feedback from area residents about how they use the structure and what they would like to see happen.
Some are worried that it will be dismantled and not replaced.
The rally is taking place from 1 to 5 p.m. and will feature a lemonade stand, fundraiser, and speakers.
