Sheshatshiu RCMP are investigating a frightening incident over the weekend involving a can of bear spray used inside a home.

Police were called to the home on Kasseuai Street around 1 a.m. Saturday.

A man entered the house, used bear spray inside a room, and took off.

A number of people were inside the home at the time. There were no injuries.

Police describe the suspect as being around five feet, eight inches tall, and of average build. He was wearing black clothing and had a hood up over his head.

Anyone with information on the perpetrator’s identity is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
