An 81-year-old man passed away in hospital on Tuesday, just over a week after suffering serious injuries in a moose-vehicle collision on the Trans Canada near Norris Arm.
The collision occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8.
The driver was removed from the vehicle by responding firefighters and taken to hospital in Grand Falls-Windsor for treatment of serious injuries.
RCMP say he was later transported to the Health Sciences where he succumbed to his injuries.
