A man is in the lockup awaiting charges of domestic violence following an incident at a home in the west end of St. John’s yesterday after two people who live there told police that a person had threatened to kill them. The 22-year-old who has been charged is an ex-boyfriend of the female complainant.
But that was just the beginning.
After the RNC caught up with the suspect in the centre city, they charged him in relation to other incidents involving the same woman.
He’s up against four charges of assault, two counts of assault causing bodily harm (choking, suffocating or strangulation), two counts of uttering threats to cause death and criminal harassment.
