A Grand Falls-Windsor man has been arrested and charged after contraband tobacco and cannabis was seized from a home in the town.
The RCMP searched the home on Monday and seized over 60,000 cigarettes, 2.25 pounds of suspected hash, and nearly $17,000 cash.
As a result, Sixty-three-year-old Andrew Noseworthy is facing three charges: possession of contraband tobacco, possession of unstamped tobacco, and possession of contraband cannabis.
Noseworthy will appear in court again in September.

-Nearly $17,000.00 of Canadian currency
Noseworthy is charged with the following offences:
-Possession of contraband Cannabis – Cannabis Control Act
-Possession of unstamped tobacco – Excise Act, 2001
-Possession of contraband tobacco – Revenue Administration Act
