The Conservation Corps has hired more than 100 young people for work on 26 Green Team projects across the province.

The young people will work with those in the community on a variety of environmental and cultural conservation projects.

Those include a marine health monitoring program in Gros Morne National Park, cultural and environmental preservation on the Great Northern Peninsula and Corner Brook, trail development and education in Eglee, Bauline, Twillingate and the Bonavista Peninsula and an earth-sheltered greenhouse in Carbonear.
