The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax has released some stunning video of a rescue involving a cruise ship off the coast of Labrador.
The cruise ship was travelling near Hebron in Northern Labrador when the Gander and Greenwood squadrons were called to rescue a patient on the ship.
The video shows team members descending down onto the ship, and the patient being lifted up on a specialized stretcher.
The person was airlifted to a waiting ambulance in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
