Those driving throughout the Town of Conception Bay South will soon have to share the roadway with all terrain vehicles on some streets.
Mayor Darrin Bent says they’ve been working with a committee for several years to come up with a route that would be safe for shared use with ATVs.
He says they have two areas selected for a pilot project that will begin on August 1—Seal Cove Road and Anchorage Road.
Bent says there’s a big demand for a shared network that will allow residents easy access to the trails.
He says many residents own ATVs and the demand is only growing. The model being used in CBS is similar to pilot projects already carried out in other parts of the province.
