The by-election in the St. John’s area has been called.
Voters in Waterford Valley will go to the polls Thursday, August 22.
The advance poll will be open for 12 hours on Thursday, August 15 and the deadline for candidate nominations is a week from today—Thursday, August 1.
Jamie Korab will represent the Liberals while the PCs will choose their candidate tonight. Kevin Guest and Jesse Wilkins are the two names on the PC ballot.
The NDP has yet to set a nomination date.
The seat became vacant with the departure of Liberal MHA Tom Osborne.
