St. John’s Regional Fire Department has lifted the fire ban that was in place for the capital city, Mount Pearl, and Paradise.
Due to the fire hazard rating being low, the ban on open fires has been lifted effective immediately.
SJRFD notes that conditions can change quickly and it asks residents to monitor social media for the latest information.
The Town of Conception Bay South has also lifted its fire ban effective immediately.
