There is virtually no change in the price of fuel products this morning.
Gas is up by 0.8 cents per litre, while diesel is down by 0.4 cents on the island—0.6 cents in Labrador West.
The price of furnace oil decreased by 0.33 cents. Stove oil on the island is also down by 0.33 cents, however in Labrador West it’s down by 0.57 cents.
Propane fell by 0.6 cents.
However, the big cost marker today is the price that people who live on the island pay for electricity. That went up by 7 per cent at midnight last night as per the ruling from the Public Utilities Board last week.
