It has been a pretty good stretch of weather in much of the province, and it looks like it will be a nice one around Quidi Vidi Lake tonight and tomorrow.
The Confederation 75 Royal St. John’s Regatta Committee is taking stock of the weather forecast not only for race day tomorrow, but for Regatta Eve tonight.
Environment Canada expects cloudy skies tonight in metro with no rain, and sunshine tomorrow with temperatures in the low twenties and light winds.
Regatta president Ashley Peach hopes for a good turnout for this evening’s festivities.
Musicians and concession stands will dot the landscape of the north bank of Quidi Vidi tonight.
