A 62-year-old woman is dead after her car collided with a motorhome on the Trans Canada in Terra Nova Park.
First responders rushed to the scene near the exit to the Town of Terra Nova just before 4 p.m. yesterday.
RCMP say the driver, who was the lone occupant, was found dead at the scene, while the occupants of the motorhome were treated for minor injuries.
The crash caused major delays on the busy stretch of highway as all lanes were closed for several hours.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is involved as the investigation continues.
