The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to the St. John’s International Airport around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, after a flight was diverted due to an unruly passenger on board.
A 53-year-old man was arrested following an investigation with the help of the airport authority.
Police say the man was charged under the Aeronautics Act.
He was then taken to the city lock up to await a court appearance.
