The Wilderness and Ecological Reserves Advisory Council, or WERAC, is making a public plea to help fill a vacancy on the council.

The independent advisory council was created by the provincial government to advise officials on establishing and managing wilderness and ecological reserves.

Anyone interested in joining the advisory group is asked to submit their application online.
