Rocky Harbour RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft that happened earlier this month at the Blue Whale Diner, Convenience and Gas Bar in Trout River.
Police say the incident happened at about 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6.
A suspect or suspects forced their way into the business and stole a quantity of frozen food and handmade jewellery.
Police believe those responsible were startled by a passer by and fled the area on foot.
