A man on the west coast is facing a slew of charges after his fake licence plate failed to fool police.

Officers on patrol in Corner Brook yesterday afternoon pulled the vehicle over after noticing the Alberta plate on the back was fake.

The man, who was also found to be driving while impaired, will appear in court in the fall on numerous charges.

His vehicle was also seized.
