Some heavy weather is powering its way through parts of the province, including the first snowstorm of the year.
The west coast, Northern Peninsula and southern Labrador will be pelted with rain. Environment Canada is saying that 40-75 mm of rain could fall by tomorrow. The heaviest of it will start late tonight.
Environment Canada meteorologist David Neal says most parts of Labrador, including Upper Lake Melville and Labrador City-Wabush, will have their first significant winter run-in with Mother Nature.
It will be slippery driving on Friday.
There will be a light shot of snow today and tonight but the heavier stuff falls on Friday, 15-30 cm.
