Planned Parenthood has secured a new space thanks to funding provided by the provincial government.

The keys to the new office space on St. Clare Avenue are being handed over today.

Planned Parenthood promotes positive sexual health and inclusion in a safe, respectful and supportive environment.

It provides a variety of services including education programs, pregnancy testing and counselling, Pap tests, breast exams, screening and treatment of sexually transmitted illnesses, Trans health, birth control options and testicular exams.

The provincial government provided $300,000 in capital funding to renovate the new space in an Eastern Health owned property.
