It has been a mild day throughout the entire province today with some temperature records being broken in some areas.
Environment Canada Meteorologist David Neal says Corner Brook, Rocky Harbour, Winterland and Terra Nova Park all had record high temperatures today.
Deer Lake and St. John’s are close to hitting records but they are not there yet.
As of 2:30 p.m., St. John’s still had not reached a record temperature, but Neil says there’s a chance it could happen. The record temperature of 18.9 degrees was set in 1918.
