The Newfoundland Liquor Commission has released some details on a number of recent arrests and seizures involving contraband cannabis.

One person was arrested and released following the search of a home in Conception Bay South on October 22. Officials seized 2.9 kg of fresh cannabis and less than a kilogram of dried cannabis. Also seized were 2.2 kg of hash and some edibles. The accused was released pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation.

One person was arrested and was held in custody on unrelated matters following the search of a home in Torbay. 14.9 kg of dried cannabis and over $2000 in cash was seized.

Meanwhile, one person was arrested and released after the search of a home in CBS earlier this week. 6.8 kg of dried cannabis and 2.24 kg of cannabis concentrate were seized along with a vehicle.
