The premier has appointed a new chief of staff.
Melissa Royle Critch takes over from Peter Miles, who held the role since 2020.
Premier Furey praised Miles on social media, calling him a “friend (and) sound counsel” who has worked passionately for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Before her appointment, Royle Critch who is a lawyer by profession, served as the premier’s deputy chief of staff.
